Improvements

Groups and People work better from the keyboard

The group tree is now a single stop when you tab through the Groups page, and you move around it with the arrow keys, Home and End, or by typing the start of a group's name. Press Enter or Space to show a group's details, and add a child group from its actions menu, which opens its parent and puts you on the new group. Closing a dialog on the Groups or People page now puts you back on the button that opened it, and screen readers now announce name warnings and empty search results as they appear.

Smoother manager and group pickers for keyboard and screen reader users

The Groups field in the Add and Edit Person dialogs is now announced by name. The manager picker tells screen readers how many people match, when nothing matches, and when you should keep typing to narrow the list. If what you type matches the current manager (by name, email, department or any other searched detail), pressing Enter keeps them instead of switching to the next match. On small screens the picker no longer jumps above and below the field as you type. After you clear the group filter on the People page, focus stays on the filter so you can carry on from where you were.

Shorter, friendlier links to your organization

When your organization has a slug, every link in Resorcerer now uses it, so a page you share reads like a name instead of a long string of letters and numbers. An administrator sets the slug in the Slug field when creating or editing the organization on the Organizations page. Links you saved before still open the right place.

AI assistants stay connected while you use them

Once you connect an AI assistant to Resorcerer, it now keeps its access fresh on its own while you keep using it. You only need to confirm again after a long break, or if you remove the connection.

Bug fixes

The AI assistant can work with your models again

Asking the assistant about your models, units, slots or people no longer ends in a "Function failed" error. It now sees the same models you can, including private ones you have access to.

Generating a model says who was left out for having no unit

When you generate a model from your people, the confirmation now says how many people were left out because they had no unit (for example, by manager: someone with no manager and no reports, such as a CEO or a contractor) separately from people skipped because they are not currently active. It used to give one combined "skipped" count.

Search finds your groups every time

Searching for a group from the top bar now finds it every time. Before, a group could show up the first time you searched for it and then go missing from later searches for the same name, even after a reload. Models are found reliably too.

Groups warns when a name is already taken

Creating or renaming a group to a name another group in your organization already uses now shows a warning that says where the existing group is, for example "Engineering / Managers". You can still save it, because directories synced from your identity provider can legitimately have groups with the same name. The Parent Group picker now shows each group's full path. When two groups have the same name and the same parent, the picker also shows each group's description and member count, and the tree shows the description next to the name.

Group names stay readable on smaller screens

When you pick another group, its details now open at the top, so you always see its name and actions first. On narrower screens and in deeply nested group trees, group names stay readable: the member count steps aside when space runs out, deep levels are indented more compactly, and the group details show an Inactive badge for inactive groups. The Add member button also stays fully visible on narrow layouts.

Group memberships stay put when you edit someone

Changes you make to a group's members now show up on the People page straight away. When you edit someone, only the groups you add or remove change, so a group someone else added them to in the meantime is kept, and editing their other details leaves their groups exactly as they are. Restoring a group from Trash brings it and its members back into view without a reload. Removing a member from a group now confirms what happened and keeps your place in the list, and a slow save from a dialog you closed no longer interferes with the one you opened next.

Groups page stays readable with long trees and same-named groups

Opening a group from search now scrolls only the group list, so the group's details stay on screen next to it. In the tree, a group's name always stays readable, and the description shown beside a same-named group shortens instead. When you type a name that several groups already share, the warning now tells them apart by description and member count instead of listing the same name twice.

Group links always open the group you meant

The Groups page address now follows the group you have open, so reloading, bookmarking, or sharing the page brings you back to the same group. If a link points to a group that was deleted or that you can't access, you now see a short notice instead of an empty page. Groups that share a name, description, and member count are now numbered in the order they were created, and listed in that order, so you can tell them apart in the tree and when picking a parent group.

Safer, clearer group pickers on the People page

Opening a multi-select list and pressing Enter no longer selects everything. Each time the list opens it starts fresh, with an empty search and nothing highlighted until you choose an option, and the "Select all" entry now says how many items it will add, such as "Select all 12" or "Select all 3 matches". When you remove a selected item with its remove button, focus returns to the field so you can keep working from the keyboard. Long names in the field are shortened to fit, and the full name shows when you point at it. On the People page, groups that share a name are now told apart the same way as in the Groups page's Parent group picker, both in a person's Groups field and in the group filter, so you always pick the group you meant. On narrow screens, the open lists (including the Parent group picker) now fit on screen and wrap long names, so the end of a name that tells two groups apart is always visible.

Editing a person no longer clears their manager by accident

When you open the Manager field while editing a person, their current manager now sits at the top of the list, already selected, with an Inactive badge if they have left. Pressing Enter keeps them, so a manager is only cleared when you choose None. Filtering the People list by a group that has no direct members now says no people were found and offers to clear the filter, instead of suggesting your organization is empty.
