HRIS org chart software that stays current
Resorcerer connects to the HR system you already use (Workday, BambooHR, HiBob, Personio, Rippling and most other mainstream HR and payroll platforms) and keeps your people directory current from it on a schedule. Generate a model from that directory and the org chart draws itself; mark it live and it follows the HR system: joiners, leavers, role changes and manager changes arrive as proposals you review, not as edits you retype. The connection is read-only, so Resorcerer never writes to your HR system.
Connect the HR system you already use
An organization admin opens Organization settings, then Integrations, adds an HR system and chooses Connect HR system. A secure window opens where you pick your system and authorize access: for most systems you sign in to it, for some you paste an API key or access token the system issues. Turn on People Sync and the first import begins. For a large directory it can take up to an hour, and Test connection tells you where it stands. The HR system guide walks through each step, the settings and the connection states.
Supported systems include Workday, BambooHR, HiBob, Personio, Rippling, Gusto, Paylocity, UKG, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors and Deel, and the full list is shown when you connect. If yours isn't there, import a CSV instead; re-importing updates people rather than duplicating them.
What comes across
| In your HR system | In Resorcerer |
|---|---|
| Name and work email | Person name and email |
| Job title and department | Title and department |
| Work location and company | Location and company, turned into attributes by your rules |
| Manager | Reporting line |
| Start date, termination date, employment status | Start date, end date, active |
| Teams, departments, cost centers, business units | Groups, with their nesting and members |
You choose which of the HR system's group types supplies each person's department
and company, and which group types are mirrored as groups. A person's role, level,
location and company are worked out from their title, department and location by
match rules you write
once, such as title:~engineer, so the same rules hold whether someone came from
the HR system, a CSV or a hand edit.
Your HR system stays the source of truth
People Sync runs once a day by default, as often as once an hour, or on demand with Sync now. Every run is recorded with how many people were created, updated, deactivated or left unchanged, and the rows it could not sync.
- Each person is matched, not duplicated. A person keeps their link to the HR system across every run, and someone already imported from a CSV is adopted by email rather than created twice.
- Synced fields are locked against hand edits, with a note naming the integration that owns them, so a hand edit is blocked instead of being silently overwritten by the next sync. Untick a field to keep editing it by hand.
- Leavers are marked inactive, never deleted, and a rehire reactivates the same record.
- Disconnecting keeps your data. The people and groups the sync brought in stay, released to hand editing.
Every model follows the synced people
An org chart drawn from your HR system shows today. Resorcerer goes on to the plans built from it. Create a model from Your people, with units by department, by manager or by group, and tick Keep this model live. When the directory changes, each live model gets a reviewable proposal: a new hire fills the matching vacant position or is added as a new one, a leaver's position stays in place as a vacancy, and a changed manager or department becomes an updated reporting line or a move.
Any number of models can be live at once, each with its own people in scope and its own review rules, so a company-wide org chart can sit beside one model per region, each paying attention only to the people it covers. Accept or reject each change, or let a kind of change (joiners, say) apply on its own. See keep a model live for every proposal type. And because a live model is protected, your scenarios are drafted on a copy of an org chart that is already current.
Keep the org chart in sync with Microsoft Entra ID
If your people directory lives in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), People Sync reads it directly, read-only, through an app registration in your tenant. Name, email, title, department, location, company, start and end dates and manager come across, and each can be pointed at a different Entra attribute when your tenant keeps the real value somewhere else. Guest and disabled accounts are left out by default, you can limit the sync to members of chosen groups, and those groups' structure can be synced as groups too. Profile photos can come across as well. See connect Microsoft Entra ID.
Identity providers such as Okta and Entra can also push people and groups over SCIM the moment they change upstream. The live models, matching and locked fields work the same whichever way your people arrive; see integrations.
Plans that include integrations
Integrations are part of the Pro plan (up to three) and Enterprise (no limit). Your plan's people allowance still applies: a sync that would go over it is refused whole, so nothing is half applied. Compare plans on the pricing page, or start with the worked example organization to see how the org chart and live models fit together before you connect your own.
