See which units are missing the roles they need
When your organization sets out what a team should contain, such as one product builder in every pod, you can now see at a glance where a model falls short. Teams that miss a role are marked in the units tree and on the org chart, seats that exist but are still empty are marked as unstaffed, and the model summary adds up the gaps for each rule, like "4 missing a Product Builder". Select any count to see exactly which teams it means, and add the missing seats in one step.
Say what every team should look like, and see where it doesn't
Composition rules let you describe the kinds of units you plan, like one product builder and one product engineer in every pod. Each rule applies to every unit with a label, in all of your models, and the Problems view points out the units that are missing a seat, have too many, or have seats nobody fills yet. The rules page shows how many units break each rule in each model, and you can start a rule straight from a unit template so it picks up the template's roles and label for you.
